ABOUT ME

Christian Grobmeier

I have been developing and maintaining software since 2001. I help businesses make technical decisions, work on implementation and give teams the knowledge they need to carry it forward.

I have contributed to the Apache Software Foundation since 2009, including work on Log4j. Today, I also serve as Vice President, Data Privacy. I have been delivering technical training since 2017 and have taught hundreds of people.

AI is part of my work today. It raises many questions I know from software development: What problem are we solving? Who can access the data? How do we check the results? And who will look after the system once it is in use?
